So I’m in London for the next couple of weeks, doing a (fascinating) styling class at Central Saint Martins, during a very exciting time. While last’s month’s couple (yeah, referring here to Kate and William) have left the country to tour MY home country, there’s another very special wedding going on just outside the city. Kate Moss and Jamie Hince tied the knot today and some early photographs have already been leaked. I felt compelled to talk about the wedding because I am amazed at how genuinely thrilled the bride looks in all of these unofficial photographs. Everything about her radiates happiness and she has that glow, the one that only comes from being madly in love (I’m really starting to think it exists! The glow of course). The ceremony seems so deeply special to them – I’ve never seen so many smiles – and it makes me so happy to see these two very unconventional individuals embrace such a tradition. Yet, she wears Zelda Fitzgerald’s wedding ring, which is just perfect. I love all the details they seemed to have put into expressing their relationship and personalities, it’s all very modern and meaningful. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the three-day ceremony unfolds. Congratulations, I think you both have it all figured out.
P.S. Did anyone notice the exquisite detailing on the vail? So romantic!
